This course is aimed at delegates working in any job role, across all sectors, to ensure that environmental sustainability is embedded into all job roles of a company. No prior environmental knowledge is required.

IEMA is the membership body for more than 15,000 environment and sustainability professionals worldwide. Supporting individuals and organisations in setting and achieving globally recognised standards for sustainable practice will, in turn, drive the development and uptake of sustainability skills.

IEMA Environmental Sustainability Skills for the Workforce is one of a suite of courses, under the banner of Environmental Sustainability Skills for the Workplace, which is a development programme aimed at non-environmental specialists.

Learners will have a practical introduction to environmental sustainability ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, understanding and motivation to make a positive difference within their organisation. It will help teams get to grips with the basics, giving a fundamental awareness of environment and sustainability issues.

This introductory course helps your team get to grips with the basics, giving a fundamental awareness of environmental and sustainability issues:

Assessment is through an online 30 minute, 20 question multiple-choice exam. This exam must be completed within 28 days of the start of the examination period, and delegates must have access to a device with a reliable internet connection. Delegates will receive login details to their registered e-mails prior to the examination period starting, and they are responsible for undertaking the exam in accordance with the IEMA regulations.

Following successful completion of the course and exam, delegates will receive an IEMA certificate.
