David joined SSG as a First Aid Trainer. Prior to this, he spent ten years in the bookbinding industry, leaving to join the Civil Service for 25 years. Following this he moved into the private ambulance sector for ten years achieving his Emergency Medical Technician and FREC3 qualifications. He spent 13 years in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force and 13 years in the Youth Cadet Force, during which he was the Senior First Aid Instructor.
