Andy joined the SSG Service Delivery team as a Trainer and Advisor in 2021.

He began his career completing an apprenticeship with Coventry City Council as a Carpenter and Joiner before joining the Royal Engineers where he served for 23 years all over the world. On transition to civilian life, he has worked across the Middle East and Asia in various Security and Construction Project Management roles. When he returned to the UK, Andy continued to work across the construction sector in various Project Management positions, all carrying health and safety responsibilities. He has also worked as an Intelligence Officer in the Maritime Security and Travel Risk sector where he carried out analysis and mitigated risks from maritime crime and piracy. Andy holds a Level 6 Graduateship in Leadership and Management and a number of other professional qualifications.
