At SSG Barry delivers a number of construction courses including NEBOSH, CITB and various bespoke CDM courses. He is also an experienced consultant, advising clients on health and safety compliance and helping develop bespoke safety management systems. As well as this he is a Chartered member of IOSH and a Member of the Association for Project Safety. Prior to this Barry had a full career in the Royal Engineers, which was followed by him becoming Managing Director for a health and safety consultancy within the construction industry. During this time he acted as a specialist CDM advisor to clients and designers for a variety of projects within various sectors and sizes of construction projects. He also set up a number of training accreditations to deliver IOSH and NEBOSH training courses. In his spare time Barry is an active member of Yealm Gig Rowing Club and enjoys coastal walks with his dog and the family.
