Miles joined SSG initially as a construction site advisor before becoming a full-time trainer who specialises in asbestos, fire safety, and general construction courses. He is also one of SSG's main NEBOSH tutors and coaches delegates who prefer to carry out training via distance learning.

Prior to this, Miles served for 13 years in the Royal Engineers.

In his spare time, Miles is a keen gardener and a regular participant at cold water swimming, which he actively encourages others to do for its mental health benefits!
