Laura Haylock

Sales and Customer Services Manager

In her position as Sales and Customer Service Team Leader, Laura is responsible for supporting her team to deliver the highest possible customer experience by dealing with day to day queries and challenges, enabling her team to work effectively and efficiently. Her goal is to ensure SSG continue to exceed the expectations of clients and create an inspiring and fun environment for her team to develop and thrive. She also assists the Technical Sales team with day to day enquiries from health and safety, employment law and ISO members.

Prior to SSG, Laura completed a degree in Psychology at Southampton University before gaining 10 years sales, customer service and management experience working for a number of multinational companies. During her six years with SSG she has continued to further develop her skillset by completing numerous certificates including IOSH Managing Safely, Mental Health, First Aid, Fire Warden and her NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. Knowledge gained from these enables her to provide the best advice to customers and her team.

Outside of work, Laura loves spending time with her family, taking her two young sons on lots of adventures on Dartmoor and at the beach, and exploring on their bikes. She also loves spending quality family time at their caravan in Cornwall and travelling abroad as much as possible.
