This course is suitable for employers and employees alike.
Course Background
This course has been created to give employers and employees a better understanding of what constitutes violence at work hazards in the workplace and how to recognise and address the risks associated with it.
Course Duration
SSG offer this course over one hour as an e-learning course.
Delegates will be given a six-month licence upon first access, in which to complete the course. Once this licence expires, delegates will be required to pay a fee to reactivate it and must contact our Customer Service Team for more information.
Course Programme
On completion of this course learners should be able to:
Identify different types of workplace violence
Recognise job roles and settings that may be at higher risk
Recall common causes of workplace violence
State the key legal duties employers have under UK health and safety laws to prevent workplace violence
Describe basic strategies for preventing and managing workplace violence
Training Certification and Assessment
On completion of this session, delegates will receive an SSG training certificate which is valid for three years.
