Course Background
This course has been created to give employers and employees a better understanding of what constitutes substance abuse at work hazards in the workplace and how to recognise and address the risks associated with it.
Course Duration
SSG offer this course over one hour as an e-learning course.
Delegates will be given a six-month licence upon first access, in which to complete the course. Once this licence expires, delegates will be required to pay a fee to reactivate it and must contact our Customer Service Team for more information.

On completion of this course learners should be able to:
Identify what is meant by substance abuse in a workplace context
Describe common signs and behaviours linked to substance misuse
Recognise the impact of substance abuse on individuals, teams and organisations
State the legal responsibilities of both employers and employees
Describe appropriate steps to manage and reduce risks in a supportive and compliant way
Training Certification and Assessment
On completion of this session, delegates will receive an SSG training certificate which is valid for three years.
