Paediatric First Aid
All of our First Aid courses are approved by the First Aid Industry Body and Quality Care Academy.
Course Attendees
This course is suitable for any persons responsible for children or infants.
Delegates must be a minimum of 14 years of age and a certificate can be offered to all, subject to assessment. A delegate cannot assume a responsibility in the workplace for children and infants until they reach the age of 16, and then it is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that the delegate is suitable for the role. The certificate will expire as dated on the certificate, irrespective of age.
NOTE: Due to the practical nature of this course, it is requested that delegate’s wear suitable clothing i.e. trousers and clean footwear.

Training Certification and Assessment
Assessment is ongoing by the instructor in respect to the delegate’s practical skills. There will also be a multiple-choice question paper to answer to test their knowledge. A three-year FAIB level 2 certificate will be issued subject to assessment.
