CPR and Defibrillation Training
One of our suite of First Aid courses, which are approved by the First Aid Industry Body and Quality Care Academy.
Course Attendees
This course is suitable for any person who has been selected to ensure that they are capable of taking on the responsibilities of a first aider. No previous first aid knowledge is required to attend this course, but it would be an advantage.
NOTE: Due to the practical nature of this course, delegates are required to wear suitable clothing i.e. trousers, clean footwear.
Course Background
This course teaches the essential skills required to operate an AED and gives students the confidence to know what to do in an emergency.
This course is approved by the First Aid Industry Body and Quality Care Academy.
Course Duration
SSG offer this course over half a day as a classroom course.
Course Programme
- Treatment of the unconscious casualty
- Resuscitation and heart attacks
- Understanding an AED device
- Operating an AED
Training Certification and Assessment
SSG course attendance certificates will be issued on successful completion of the course. These are valid for three years, though annual training is recommended.
NOTE: This certification does not replace the Emergency First Aid at Work or full First Aid at Work certification.
