This refresher course will reinforce and update knowledge gained on the CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme.
Course Attendees
This refresher course must be attended by those wanting to renew their original CITB Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme certificate before it expires.
NOTE: Delegates must be competent in English at supervisor level in order to complete this course.
Course Background
The Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme Refresher will reinforce and update your knowledge and understanding of your legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.

SSG offer this course over one day as a classroom or virtual course.
Course programme
At the end of the training delegates will be aware of and be able to implement:
- All updated health, safety, welfare and environmental legislation which affect their role as a supervisor
- New guidance and industry best practice affected by changes
- Their duties and responsibilities with regard to health, safety, welfare and the environment
Training Certification and Assessment
Delegates will be assessed through attendance on the course as well as a multiple choice / written exam paper at the end of the course. Successful delegates will receive a CITB certificate valid for five years, renewed by attending a one-day refresher course.
