This course is suitable for senior business leaders or anyone who aspires to this role in the future. These leaders can be working in any sector, anywhere in the world. Note Whilst there are no entry requirements for this qualification, it is recommended that learners have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues, and many may have already gained another NEBOSH qualification. The standard of English required by delegates must be such that they can both understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.

The NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Health and Safety Leadership Excellence is a qualification for leaders and aspiring leaders to gain a core understanding of how their behaviours and responsibilities have a direct impact on health and safety management.
Effective leaders understand that health and safety is not just morally important but also helps organisations achieve their objectives, including in finance, operations, compliance and governance. The syllabus has been developed by NEBOSH in conjunction with the HSE and is based on published HSE guidance.
Course Duration
SSG offer this course over one day as a classroom course. It is a requirement that delegates undertake a minimum of three hours of pre-course study.

Delegates will be assessed through a series of reflective statements undertaken throughout the course. They will be assessed on the HSE's five leadership values:

Encouraging improvement, innovation and learning
On successful completion of this course delegates will receive a NEBOSH certificate.
