Water Safety and Awareness
Personnel, who may be working near water, will be provided with sufficient knowledge to be aware of hazards created by this enviornment. During this course, delegates will gain a full understanding of related water rescue techniques.
This course is designed to make delegates aware of the hazards associated with water (flood, beach, river and still water) and to carry out basic land-based rescue techniques. The training provided in this course will enable delegates to identify the risks around them and to be able to apply safe systems of work to prevent them from being placed in danger. The course is compliant with the DEFRA concept of flood operations Level 1.

- Use of basic rescue equipment
- All delegates will receive the 'Rescue 3 Water Awareness' manual for post course reference
We are able to offer dates for this course in partnership with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. The fee per delegate is £197.00 plus VAT.
