This course provides a basic understanding of fire and aims to improve fire safety.

This course is suitable for employees at all functional levels within the organisation who require a basic understanding of fire risk and fire control

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that “the responsible person must ensure that his employees are provided with adequate safety training.” The level of training will depend on findings from a fire risk assessment.

The SSG Fire Safety Awareness course aims to provide a basic understanding of fire, improve fire safety by raising awareness of fire prevention and precautions and use of extinguishers.

SSG offer this course over half a day as a classroom or virtual course.

Delegates will be assessed on their input during the exercises on the course. SSG course attendance certification will be issued on successful completion of training and is valid for three years.
