1a. NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals

The NEBOSH National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals is the qualification for aspiring health and safety professionals, building upon the foundation knowledge provided by the NEBOSH National General Certificate.

It is a prestigious and demanding course that is internationally recognised as a leading qualification for health and safety.

On completion, you will gain the designatory letters DipNEBOSH, allowing for application to GradIOSH and further progression to Chartered status.


The course is split into three units. It is based on a learner-centred approach and is therefore highly participative using tutor's presentations, practical demonstrations, individual and group projects, games, quizzes and other activities. Delegates must be totally committed to both the course and the undertaking of substantial private study in order to prepare fully for the examinations. 

  •  Unit ND1: Know - workplace health and safety principles (UK)
  •  Uni ND2: Do - controlling workplace health issues (UK)
  •  Unit ND3 - controlling workplace safety issues (UK)

The course will be delivered using a range of delivery methods, including face-to-face training at the Plymouth training centre and virtual training via Zoom or an equivalent platform. For delegates who are unable to attend the face-to-face sessions, virtual access to the classroom can be provided.

This course is delivered over 29 days plus one 1-day registration event, at a fee per delegate of £5000 plus VAT.
