The NEBOSH HSE Award in Managing Risks and Risk Assessment at Work is an introductory level qualification jointly developed with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
The one-day course is structured around the Health and Safety Executive’s approach to controlling the risks caused by workplace hazards. Develop straightforward, practical health and safety risk management skills so you can go beyond risk assessment, to effectively control the health and safety risks caused by hazards in your workplace.
The NEBOSH HSE Award in Managing Risks and Risk Assessment at Work syllabus consists of one unit and assessment.
Unit RAW1: Managing risks in the workplace
- Element 1 – Why manage health and safety risks?
- Element 2 – Managing risk: identification, understanding and control
- Element 3 – Managing risk: sources of information and the application of HSE risk assessment tools
