City & Guilds 6150-05 Emergency Rescue & Recovery of Casualties in Confined Space
The City & Guilds Training Scheme 6150 is the water industry standard. All water companies participated in the formulation of this scheme to ensure that training quality is consistent and accepted nationally.
CG6150-05 is a course in Emergency Rescue and Recovery of Casualties in Confined Space, which runs for 2 days. All delegates must have completed the High Risk Confined Space course (CG6150-03) before attending this training.
This course is designed for those who are part of or in the process of forming a dedicated rescue team.
Assessment is by practical observation and written test, and will include:
- Rescue planning
- Alternative strategies for effective rescue
- Tactical decision making
- Operational procedures
- Essential communications
- Emergency casualty evacuation
- Practical, scenario based training
We are able to offer dates for this course in partnership with Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service. The fee per delegate is £702.00 plus VAT.
