Manager guidance and resources on managing drug and alcohol misuse

The CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) have produced a new set of guidance documents and resources to assist with the management of drug and alcohol misuse in the workplace.
The guidance was produced in response to research which found that only 33% of employers provide information to employees on sources of support for drug and alcohol-related problems. The research also found that there is a lack of investment by employers on manager training that would enable them to better support team members.
