Adam Worth to present 'Mental Health at Work' at IOSH Branch Meeting
- Date: Tuesday 15th January 2019
We are proud to support IOSH at the next South West Branch Meeting at Boringdon Park Golf Course on 16 January.
Local branch meetings are held regularly throughout the year for IOSH members or anybody thinking of becoming a member of IOSH. Each meeting aims to help to raise awareness of specific health and safety topics to representatives of all industry sectors.
Adam Worth, a health and safety trainer and consultant, will be delivering a talk on ‘Mental Health at Work – Reducing Absence and Increasing Productivity’ and discussing the importance of mental health in the workplace.
We currently provide a range of Mental Health training across the South West. Our portfolio includes the two-day Adult Mental Health First Aid, one-day Workplace Mental Health First Aid, half-day Mental Health First Aid Aware, and newly added IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing.
Adam Worth said: “Mental Health is continuing to be a prevalent topic, which is good as people should be encouraged to discuss mental health in the workplace. I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to continue the conversation about mental health further reducing stigma whilst giving employers the tools they need to make a difference.”
