SSG compete in NSPCC’s ‘Festival of Trees’
- Date: Tuesday 18th December 2018
SSG are proud to have sponsored a tree as part of this year’s NSPCC 2018 ‘Festival of Trees’ event at Theatre Royal Plymouth.
Now in its 22nd year, NSPCC partners with Theatre Royal Plymouth to hold the Festival of Trees event, which begins in Mid-November and judged by the Deputy Lord Mayor in December. The theatre is decorated with Christmas trees and garlands; each of which are sponsored by businesses or individuals from the local area.
NSPCC were successful in raising around £12,000 from the event, with funds going towards vital work with children and young people in local communities and helping to support Childline.
SSG’s tree can be found just to the right of the customer service desks. SSG joins many other local businesses in supporting the event including winner David May, runner up Michael Spiers, along with Plymouth Citybus, Rocktails and Tamar Fresh.
Mel Standlick, Marketing Team Leader at SSG ‘We are delighted to support the NSPCC Festival of Trees this year at the Plymouth Theatre Royal. It’s great to be involved in the event and support the NSPCC who does so much to help children. We hope all the trees bring a great deal of joy to visitors of the theatre during this festive period.’
