29th March 2019 – Brexit
We will update members in our monthly e-bulletins on the implications to UK employment law as the terms of the agreement (or no agreement!) become clearer.
6th April 2019 – Changes to Payslips
Employers will need to state the total hours worked per pay period and a breakdown of the different hourly rates of pay that will apply to those hours.
Workers (Definition and Rights) Bill 2017-2019
This bill will bring about an end to zero-hours contracts and give greater protection to those in undependable work. This bill is expected to gain royal assent in 2019 and be passed as an Act of Parliament.
