Teams with Gender Balance Management Are Safer and More Engaged

Sodexo, the multifunctional onsite service provider, has conducted comprehensive research to compare the performance of teams with a balance of gender in management roles against the performance of those with a gender imbalance. Over 50,000 managers across 70 separate business entities contributed to the survey. The findings have been striking.
Teams with gender balance management outperform teams with an imbalance.
In each of five key performance metrics, teams with gender balance management outperformed teams with an imbalance by achieving:
- 12% less workplace accident rates
- 14% higher employee engagement
- 9% higher client retention
- 8% higher employee retention
- 8% higher operating margin
