ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management, demonstrating a committment to product/service excellence and customer satisfaction, whilst reducing mistakes and facilitating continuos improvment in business performance.

ISO 9001 is by far the most established voluntary quality management standard in the world and is currently being used by over one million organizations across more than 170 countries. Successful implementation not only demonstrates a commitment to ensure quality and customer satisfaction but also to promote the highest product and service standards and continuous improvement. 

The BS EN ISO 9001:2015 standard is built around the following top level structure, from Annex SL:

  • Context of the Organisation
  • Leadership
  • Planning
  • Support
  • Operation
  • Performance Evaluation
  • Improvement

All management system standards will be built around this top level structure to enable better and easier integration with other standards and system elements, should a company wish to add these at a later date.
