R. Linley - Wood Energy - 4:24pm - 27th January 2010
The scaffold course exceeded expectations in every way, being both engaging and informative. Among the best I have attended in 15 years of training.
The content was presented in a realistic, thorough and effective manner. None of those old black and white photos from the tutors childhood - it was all up to date stuff. We were also provided with course materials that were superior to many other courses I have attended.
The tutor was not one of those tiresome worn out experts. His answers were concise, and accurate - no waffle. Personally I had a long list of foxy questions. The end of course "wash up session" finsished off the last of these. I can't think how the course could be improved, but I am confident that the tutor will be updating it to keep abreast of the latest technical changes. I've recommended my colleagues to book up.
To cap it off I did not have to wait weeks for the certificate.

SSG recently carried out a site risk assessment seminar in our own premises. This was essential to our business because of the growing demand from customers to meet HSE requirements and to safeguard our staff who work on site.
The course tutor provided a realistic scenario around which he explained the needs legally and the framework which we are all involved in with site risk assessment.
The whole seminar was so professional, with the tutor involving all from the outset taking us through the minefields of grading risks and probabilities and pointing the way to practical solutions. Well worth the money!
M. Redfern - Ace Fire - 9:34am - 9th November 2009
I took the first aid at work refresher course at SSG in mid-2009. I was a little apprehensive on signup because it cost more than many of the local colleges seemingly offering the identical course. It turned out to be a great experience; the standard of instruction was very high, the professionalism evident all around, and the out-of-town location and on-site parking a boon. Best of all, appetising lunches were included, allowing time to socialise with course mates, and avoiding the need to rush off site or bring your own. In terms of value for money and reduced stress, SSG can’t be beaten.
