CIEH Level 2 Award in Principles of Risk Assessment
This course is intended for those team members who need to understand the principles of risk assessment and carry out practical assesssments in the workplace.
- Delegates who successfully complete this course will gain a better understanding of:
- The main causes of accidents and ill health and their implications for people in the workplace
- The legal requirements for risk assessment
- The principles of risk assessment including: hazards, risks and control measures, the five steps of risk assessment, the hierarchy of control, risk assessment review and record keeping.
Certification is through the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH).
