Driver Safety Awareness
Around 2000 people are killed on our roads each year and up to one third of all road accidents and deaths involve someone on company business.
Driver safety on company business is shifting from personal to corporate responsibility and management can be held vicariously responsible for the actions of their employees. All employers have a duty to provide and maintain a safe place of work. Employers, management and employees need to understand how the risks involved in road transport can be controlled.
This half day course is suitable for company drivers and all personnel who drive as part of their work activities.
- Safety legislation and its application to driver safety
- Common risks associated with work related driving
