CDM Consultancy

Our CDM Consultants work in close partnership with each Client, Principal Designer, Principal Contractor and Contractor. They are on hand to offer relevant advice and guidance throughout each project, from the initial design stage through to completion of the construction phase. These services can include:

Client:

  • Advice on the responsibilities and competency of each duty holder
  • Advice on time and resources required for the project
  • HSE Notification
  • Advice on Pre-Construction Information documentation
  • Contractor monitoring including regular site safety inspections

Principal Designer / Designers:

  • Advice on Pre-Construction Information documentation
  • Advice on the design risk assessment process
  • Assistance in liaison between design and construction teams
  • Preparation and update of the Health and Safety File

Principal Contractor / Contractor:

  • Advice on the responsibilities of each duty holder
  • Preparation of Construction Phase Plans
  • Help in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Preparation and update of the Health and Safety File
  • Conduct site health and safety audits and inspections throughout the construction phase
